Free Printable: Halloween Lunch Box Cards & a Recipe

I know, Halloween is over a month away, but I have the bug. The weather where I live has been gray and rainy and just the other night I had apples with a caramel dip. (I only eat apples and caramel dip in the fall and winter.) It all the sudden felt like fall.

I have started working on a collection of Halloween printables and since I am feeling it should be autumn, I am sharing one of the lunch box card sheets I have been working on. Just click on the image to download or click here.

And just for fun, here is the caramel apple dip recipe my family loves:

Caramel Apple Dip
In either a pot on low heat or a double boiler, melt caramel (Use a small tub of caramel dip or melt 25-30 Kraft Caramel Squares.)

Once melted, add 1 cream cheese. Stir till both are melted. (There may be a few lumps, but that is okay.)

Take off the heat. With a mixer, whip the caramel/cream cheese mixture to get a nice, fluffy texture.

Put into a dish (preferably the one you will be serving in) and let it set in the refrigerator.

Once it stiffens, serve with apple slices.

Note: A friend made her own caramel with brown sugar and butter, then she added toffee was just as tasty.
