Free Printable: Weekly Class Organizer

It has taken me a long time to find a way to keep my daughter Keziah organized in school. She has a hard time staying focused and gets overwhelmed when everything is piled in front of her. We are lucky if she can remember to give me forms on time. We have tried various types of calendars and planners. They work for a few weeks and then they get lost in the black hole of a backpack she carries.

Before school started, she spent a few days with me at my office. She noticed a weekly task calendar I had on my desk. It was designed by a coworker and helps me keep on top of the lurking deadlines. Keziah said she could use something like that.

I created a simple weekly calendar that can be three-hole punched and put in a binder. For Keziah, having a one-week calendar right in the front of her binder has kept her organized, and it allows me to actually see what it is she is doing in school. At the end of the week, Keziah takes the calendar out of her binder and puts a new one in. She is no longer overwhelmed since she only has to focus on the week ahead of her.

I am sharing the calendar to whomever thinks it might be useful. There are two versions: A plain one and one with a watermark. Keziah likes that it is not overly embellished because it would cause a distraction. The calendar also allows her to doodle or decorate it as she see's fit.
